Not long ago, I was asked why I shoot film. I would say it's just the overall look that is so authentic and real. That was until my computer crashed and I lost a very precious folder. I was devastated, until I found a physical photo album in which I had printed the images from that folder into tangible prints. So I ask you, where do your pictures really go if you aren't printing them? I am so worried about this generation losing the ability to hold their memories in the hands that I have decided to offer my clients the opportunity to do just that.
I am forever chasing light and moments. I believe magical images are captured when using this combination. When you hold your images I want you to feel every breath, hear ever laughter, and remember every emotion of that exact moment. I want to capture the REAL you whether it is for a wall portrait or a typical day in your life.

Lifestyle portraits
Lifestyle Portraits are among my favorite sessions because they capture LIFE. Forced or posed images are not what life is really about. There are hardly any pictures of my children in our house, where there wasn't a pile of laundry on the couch that was so high, all 4 of them could hide. There is that one picture where we tried for the "wall" portrait. But guess what, I didn't pick the most "perfect" one. The one that has been on my wall for 18 years is the one that had the one child that was causing havoc that day giving me his mischievous smile. Why you say? Because it captured what life was really like in our wild house.

So know you've decided that is time for new family pictures finally, what's next? Let's chat over sweet tea or hot chocolate because coffee is not my go go juice. We can talk over what your wants are whether it's for that wall portrait or capturing your family's daily activities. We will decide what location best fits your vision and a tentative date. I will send you a link to my availability calendar so you can pick your desired date.
Once your date is selected, I will then send a contract and invoice. Your session prepayment must be paid within 48 hours to lock in your selected date. Next you will receive a proposal that gives you to option to pick the collection that best suits your needs. Invoice and contract will then follow We can then start discussing wardrobe ideas that will work best for your location.
Once we have completed your session, I will then send you a few of my favorite sneak peeks. Depending on the collection you select, delivery time will vary. Digital collections typically take up to 4 weeks to complete. Albums and prints will take an additional 2 weeks to complete.
